Some of my best childhood memories involve swimming in the stock tank out at Grandma and Grandad Schadel's farm. My grandma would muck out the tank until it sparkled, just so the grandkids could swim without fear of moss, frogs, and cow slobber.
Naturally, I was very happy that Allie got to experience stock tank swimming at the Jennings Fireman's Fun Day, back in August. She and cousin Zach Vacura had a great time getting soaked and splashing around.
This video of Zach dumping water on Allie's head cracks me up. I love it when he says, "Oh, crud!" when the styrofoam cup starts leaking. One of his mom Crystal's catchphrases is, "Oh, crud."
