While in Keystone, we toured the abandoned "Big Thunder" gold mine, accompanied by a grouchy (and bitey) dog named, "Lady." (she was not) We panned for gold afterwards, and found out that panning is a big pain in the butt with minimal results. Later, we rode the 1880 Train from Hill City to Keystone and back. Allison got her very own train whistle and annoyed all the other passengers by blowing the whistle and screaming, "ALL ABOOODE!" every five seconds. (She doesn't pronounce the "r" in "aboard.")
