Allison turned three years old today. She has talked non-stop about her birthday for weeks now...so this morning, she announced it to everyone she met. We even stopped the car and told the school crossing-guard lady that today was the day. When you ask her how old she is, she says "thwee" and makes the international "okay" sign with her thumb and forefinger to demonstrate one, two, three fingers.Allie brought cupcake snacks to daycare - they must have been a hit, because there were none left over. Stacy and I got her a little tiny birthday cake in the shape of a mopsy dog...it was mostly frosting, so we will have a heck of a time getting her to bed tonight. We let her open a couple of presents - she got a princess book, a Peter Pan DVD, and a duck life jacket for the swimming pool.
The "real" birthday party is this Sunday...and mom is starting to panic because preparations are way behind schedule. (Stacy predicted this would happen)
