Light Parade In Oberlin
1. The City of Oberlin had a really neat light parade over Thanksgiving. The evening was perfect - a gentle snow with big fluffy flakes, townspeople milling about on Main Street, stores open late, serving free coffee and cookies. It was right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
2. Allie and Grandma Marge, watching the parade go by.
3. After the parade, Santa showed up at the Town Hall. Allie told him that she wanted "candy" for Christmas. She received a brown paper bag full of peanuts and oranges instead.
