My posts are a little out of order, but I wanted everyone to appreciate how far I had to climb in order to get the photos of the campground and lake. That hill was steep! The trail was precarious! And I expected rattlesnakes to jump out and bite me at every turn!There was a point where I thought, "If I die up here, no paramedic is going to make this hike to retrieve my body." Comforting.
