A little background info: Every night for the last few weeks, Allison has been asking about birthdays. She knows that hers is in May, that Mommy's is in May, and that Daddy's is in February. It's a nightly ritual to repeat this over and over before she falls asleep. (Mom thinks it's a stall tactic)As Dad's birthday approached, Mom asked Allie what she wanted to buy for him. "Mmmm, maybe....a Barbie?" was her answer every time.
Well, it just so happened that while we were out shopping for a birthday gift, we stumbled upon a Ken doll that looked ALOT like Daddy. Naturally, we had to buy it for him. Allie was so proud, and to this day, she calls that Ken her "Daddy doll."
PS: Mommy got Dad a Garmin GPS system.
