Playdate

Allison had her first-ever playdate the other day with her best friend, Sami. Sami is six years old and doesn't go to our daycare anymore because she started kindergarten last fall ... Allie has been heartbroken ever since. So, I organized a little get-together. And you have never seen such happy little girls.

They played dress up. They had a tea party. They made a massive mess with the Barbies - then fought over who would clean it all up. They ran. They screamed. They danced. They watched the Tinkerbell movie and ate popcorn. And finally, they helped me decorate (and eat) jumbo, super-duper ice cream cone cupcakes. Sami was extremely hyper and jam-packed full of sugar when she left. I bet her mama was cursing me all night.
